Auburn University Ranked 8th in Country
on CPA Exam Pass Rates
According to the 2007 edition of the Candidate
Performance on the Uniform CPA Examination published by
the National Association of States Boards of Accountancy (NASB),
Auburn University ranked 8th in the country for schools with highest
passing rates among first-time candidates without advanced degrees.
Auburn University achieved this ranking, because Auburn MAc students
sit for the Uniform CPA Exam during the spring semester of the MAc
Program. These students are not considered candidates with advanced
degrees until they graduate from the MAc Program in May or August
after sitting for the exam. In
2007, MAc students averaged 90% plus. In
2008, MAc students averaged 80% plus.
