ACCT 6420/6426 INCOME TAX II (3). Pr., ACCT 4410 or departmental approval. Tax accounting for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates and trusts. Extensive use of a tax service program. Offered fall and spring on-campus, and offered fall only via distance learning.

ACCT 7320/7326 FINANCIAL ANALYSIS & VALUATION (3). Pr., 5130/6130 or departmental approval. Forecast of earnings and financial statements, valuation approaches and their application in accounting measurement, and financial reporting as a tool in management communication with investors. ACCT 7410 FEDERAL TAX RESEARCH (3). Pr., ACCT 6420 or departmental approval. Sources of authority used federal tax research and survey of tax policy issues. Offered fall only on-campus.

ACCT 7430/7436 TAXES & DECISION MAKING (3). Pr., ACCT 6420 or departmental approval. Emphasis on identifying, understanding, and evaluating tax planning opportunities. Offered spring only on-campus and distance learning.

ACCT 7980/7986 INTEGRATED ACCOUNTING CONCEPTS FOR DECISION MAKING (3). Pr., Capstone course. Course is offered during the spring semester only and is open only to MAc students graduating during the spring term or following summer term.  The four and one-half day on-campus residency requirement occurs at the end of this course. Offered spring only on-campus and distance learning for graduating students only.
